James is on the Executive Committee of the global alliance of employment lawyers, Ius Laboris, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association Legislative and Policy committee. He is editor of Age Discrimination (published by Bloomsbury), an author of Partnership and Discrimination Law for Professional Partnerships (published by Legalease) and has been a monthly contributor to Management Today for over ten years.

Paul Schreiner is Partner at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in Essen, Germany and heads the employment law practise. Luther is a large full service law firm employing more than 300 lawyers, more than 40 of them are specialized in employment law. Paul primarily deals with restructuring projects and collective disputes between employers and works councils. He also provides comprehensive advice on employment law issues including legal disputes in court procedures. Paul is a guest lecturer at the Ruhr Universität Bochum and author of numerous publications on labor law.

Ruben Houweling is a professor of labour law at the Erasmus School of Law in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He earned a PhD in criminal law, but was appointed professor in employment law. Ruben has experience on all important areas of employment law. He is editor of multiple leading employment law journals in the Netherlands and (co-)author of important employment law handbooks. Ruben developed the interactive digital data bank (VAAN) AR Updates.nl and is general editor of the weekly online update.
University of Luxembourg
Luca Ratti is an associate professor of European and comparative labour law at the Faculty of of Law, Economics and Finance in Luxembourg. He earned a PhD in labour law from the University of Bologna, where he also served as Senior Researcher and Adjunct Professor in Labour Law and Social Security.
Together with Italian and European academics he has coordinated research projects and publications on personal damages, individual and collective dismissals, outsourcing, and the invalidity of employment contracts, making particular use of the comparative method. He is currently Principal Investigator in research projects funded by the Luxemburgish Fond National de la Recherche (FNR) and by the European Commission.

Amber Zwanenburg is a lecturer of labour law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She is a PhD candidate on a topic of European employment law. Amber publishes in various law journals and participates in an EU-funded project on transnational employment within the transport sector in the EU.

Prior to joining Erasmus University Rotterdam late 2017, he worked six years as a labour lawyer with various large Dutch law firms. He is a PhD candidate on a topic of European labour law. He regularly publishes in various law journals and serves as a co-author in a handbook on Dutch employment law.
